Aidan's 1st 4th of July

We were able to spend the whole weekend down in Springfield for Aidan's very 1st Fourth of July. It was a bummer that it rained most of the time, and it was too chilly for us to bring Aidan out of the car for the fireworks. But there was a few hours where we got some sun and fun!

Aidan was finally able to get his first pool experience ever! We weren't sure if the sun would ever shine over the weekend. Finally a few hours before we left, while we were visiting Gpa Ken and Gma Debi, the sun finally came out to stay! So we impromptu set up the pool. Grandma put in warm water so Aidan was quite spoiled. It was like a bath for him - but better because he got to stay in longer! He loved it! We still have a pool to try out at Gpa Karl and Gma Mary's before the summer is over. I hope he gets a chance to swim again before Fall comes!!



Aidan's little brother (27 weeks along) even got some sun this day!












My sister Karlin (Aidan's auntie) got her first tattoo! It has a very special meaning :)
It says Aidan when you look at it one way.

We can't wait for next year's 4th of July when Aidan's little brother will be here to celebrate with us!!
